Anyone who is into horse racing and betting on the results will want to read the Form Guide to find out all they can about the horses that are running, the condition of the track and which horses have been scratched from the race at the last minute. Without the form guide you might end up trying to place a bet on a horse that has just been taken out of the race.

When you are interested in horse racing as a pastime you will usually want to bet on certain horses winning, but you cannot do this with any success unless you know what form the horse is in to start with. A form guide will tell you what a certain horse has done in its previous races and you can get a fair idea then of whether that horse is likely to win or not. The form guide can be found online on many websites, however you do need to be sure you only go to reputable websites as not all will have the same form guide. Many kinds of information can be found out by reading a form guides and most of it will help you to make a good decision with regards to the winner of any specific race. You can then place your bet more accurately, but remember to only gamble with money you can afford to lose.
